Free legal advice clinic in Chelmsford based at Chelmsford Citizens Advice

The Chelmsford Law Clinic aims to provide free, independent, confidential and impartial legal advice to everyone within the community and surrounding areas of Chelmsford.

Founded as a fortnightly service based in the Civic Centre in Duke Street, Chelmsford run by a single volunteer for Family Law. Chelmsford Law Clinic was launched on 26 January 2018 by Vicky Ford (Chelmsford MP) and offers specialist legal advice in nine areas of law, Civil Law Matters, Clinical Negligence, Contentious Trusts, Wills and Probate, Criminal Defence, Employment, Family, Housing, Immigration and Personal Injury Law by our pro bono solicitors and barristers.

As a long-term goal, the Clinic hopes to become a referral hub for a variety of local legal support organisations so that the Clinic can continue to ensure that you are supported throughout every step of your legal journey.

To learn more about other local legal organisations and events, go to our Community and Local Organisations pages.

The Clinic is open Tuesday and Friday: 09:00 – 16.30.
